Dance Holidays

We have three holidays throughout the year

Calling all beginners and improvers!

BEGINNERS AND IMPROVERS DANCE HOLIDAY, THE TOORAK  HOTEL, TORQUAY.

Friday 24th - Monday 27th January 2025 (3 nights)

Dancing  has great health benefits as well as giving a great social life.

If you have never danced before, this holiday is just for you.

By the end of the holiday you will be buzzing and achieved loads.

Catering for all those with two left feet and those who have a little experience from the dim and distant past.

The holiday combines having fun with a focussed dancing instruction. You will be hitting the dance floor strutting your stuff within the first session.

What to expect, well....

We have the most fabulous weekend holidays three times a year.

If you are looking for a fun packed dance weekend, look no further...

Lynne and Geoff will welcome you on the Friday afternoon explaining what to expect. We then start the afternoon tea dance.

Having dipped our toes in the water (or pointed our toes on the dance floor!), time to get the glad rags on - either celebrating the colour themed evening or donning our posh frocks to dance  to the most fabulous live keyboard player.

When Saturday dawns we have two workshops to look forward to, a new sequence dance and then honing our ballroom or latin skills. There is still time to enjoy the vistas and stunning Devon coastlines.

A Saturday evening of more dancing and practicing the new dance and skills also the opportunity to see who is the winner of the quiz!

If feet are not too sore we dance Sunday morning away before saying fond farewells to old friends and new acquaintances.

Impossible to beat!

Come and Join us!

Fun moments from some of our holidays

OUR HOLIDAYS AT THE TOORAK AND VICTORIA

 2025!

At the end of January our band of beginners learned to strut their stuff on the wonderful Toorak dance floor. We were blessed with a good number of our group returning for more fun and frolics. Their mastery of Social Foxtrot, basic Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha and Jive was enhanced with the Ria Bachata and at least 4 or 5 fun dances. A spectacle to behold, and a roaring success. Click here to see the fun in photos!

We only had time to draw breath before the Dance Holiday at the Victoria had arrived and we were once more in the car travelling down to the English Riviera get a little more of the Happy Feet dancing experience. Thank you so much Lynne and Geoff - WHAT FUN!

The dance floor was bathed in shades of black, green and gold on the Friday night The dance workshops on the Saturday had something for everyone. The Bossinove 23, The Winter Rose Waltz and two tango figures to boot. If that wasn't enough the wonderful Carl Webb filled the dance floor with his Keyboard playing for our black tie ball. Tried and tested favourites on Sunday morning lifted everyone prior to our journeys' home. Click here to see how the holiday was captured!
